Why do babies have physiotherapy?

The best practice for motor skill acquisition is freedom of movement. If there are any developmental delays, an evaluation is important.

AT-RISK BABIES

All babies who are at risk of developmental delays are considered at-risk:

✓ Babies born prematurely;

✓ Babies born with low birth weight;

✓ Babies born with congenital malformations;

✓ Babies with severe asphyxia;

✓ Babies with a history of long periods of hospitalization.
